Brian Brown: Author Photo

Brian Brown is the Story Editor and Senior Producer of NBC Olympics. He has been lucky to be sent on many wonderful Olympic adventures, including a 36,000-mile South Pacific excursion with stops in 29 places, including the smallest member of the International Olympic Committee: the island of Nauru. He has been awarded the Olympic Golden Rings three times for excellence in Olympic broadcasting. He’s also won a total of 12 Emmys, including an Emmy for Outstanding Documentary, The Wonders of Rome; and he’s twice won the Dick Schaap Outstanding Writing Emmy award. Brian is a former reporter for The New York Times and San Diego Union, and was the supervising producer for HBO’s much-acclaimed talk show On the Record with Bob Costas. He is also the author of TV: a novel. Brian lives in Westchester, New York, with his wife and two children.
